Here online you can head to the Classes and Tutorials video library and start practicing the ‘Beginning Yoga’ section of guided classes, which is excellent for those who are new to yoga.

Students have membership options for JHY Shala in Oslo for Ashtanga Yoga.
Students also have Online Memberships for the Online Studio for remote study and practice. Here students have the ability to study all digital materials onine and also live classes on zoom with Jamie. -
Included in the online memberships is access to all digital recorded classes, tutorials, workshops and courses.

No. All levels of practitioners are welcome to join, especially beginners. You don’t need any knowledge of the system as you will be taught the basics and progressively guided through the postures as you build strength and stamina.

The Element Series are vinyasa flow sequences Jamie created as an alternative to Ashtanga Yogas Primary Series that students can practice in unison with their Ashtanga practice and Vinyasa practitioners who enjoy the intention and flow of Ashtanga.

Jamie teaches the system in a non-dogmatic way, giving adaptations to the system and tailoring the sequences to each individual student. He has a pragmatic approach to yoga and focuses on what works in real life for each body type, rather than pushing any form of dogmatism.
